GFI is an Authorized Reseller for IBM Social Software and Unified Communications

The IBM Lotus brand has created a new Reseller Authorization group - effective July 19th, 2010 - called Social Software and Unified Communications (SS&UC), which include the following product groups: IBM Lotus Connections, IBM Lotus Quickr and IBM Lotus Sametime. This group is added to the Lotus and WebSphere Portal portfolio which went into authorized distribution effective January 2010.

GFI is proud to announce that today, we are the only IBM business partner in Belgium that is authorized to sell products as part of the SS&UC Reseller Authorization group. This enforces our commitment to be the most important IBM Business Partner for Lotus Software products.

Notes and Domino will be added as its own Reseller Authorization group effective January 2011 and GFI is ready.

IBM has designed a new way for you to purchase your IBM software & maintenance, imposing higher quality criteria for resellers. This will reduce the number of resellers (so called controlled distribution model). With this change IBM wants to increase the value you receive when engaging with your business partner.
